Many of our customers have asked for the ability to generate expense receipts on demand - and it's now possible with just a few clicks. It's one more reason to use TrainSplit for your next business trip.
For many of us, expense claims are one of the downsides of business travel, but with TrainSplit it doesn't have to be painful. From this week, you can download receipts for all of your trips from the Account section of the new TrainSplit website:
You can also download receipts from the confirmation page:
And finally, at the bottom of all confirmation emails sent (from today):
Our PDF receipts are full VAT receipts and include everything that finance will need to process your claim, including Raileasy's company details, VAT registration number and a full breakdown of your booking including any fees per journey and the tickets purchased.
If you need receipts for historical bookings made whilst you were logged-out, just drop our friendly UK support team a message and we'll be happy to provide them for you.
Any bookings made on our Android or iOS app will sync across to the website (as long as you are logged in on your phone) so you can access your receipts when you're back at your desk, even if you've booked on-the-go.
What's more, TrainSplit accepts payment from a number of card providers (including American Express) so you can collect cashback on your work travel expenses. Depending on your company expenses policy, you may also be able to take advantage of TrainSplit's advanced splitting algorithm to travel in first class for less than a walk-up standard class ticket if you book in advance*.
* Subject to availability of sufficiently low-priced Advance 1st tickets. Always consult your expenses policy before booking. Blog post banner image courtesy of fullvector.
