It can happen to anyone. You click the âbuyâ button having carefully checked the details and get your confirmation email. Only then do you realise that you booked the return on the wrong day.
Donât worry. TrainSplit has you covered. No matter what type of tickets you bought, we offer a free refund within one hour of purchase, with a couple of provisos:
⢠Ticket on Departure: If you selected âTicket on Departure,â you mustnât collect your tickets. Instead, go straight to our refunds system, and weâll cancel them for you.
⢠Unused Tickets: Obviously, you canât have used your tickets at all (not even to go through a barrier), and the refund request must be made before the departure time of the service you booked.
To request your refund, ensure youâre within one hour of purchase or before the departure of the first booked train, whichever comes first. Simply visit our Refunds page and fill in the details. Weâll offer you a full, no-questions-asked refund, provided you meet the conditions outlined.
We think thatâs unique, and itâs yet another reason to use us, even if youâre not splitting tickets. We're also flattered that, more recently, some Train Operating Companies have decided to implement similar policies.
